The four principal departments of Circular Economy, Applied Chemistry & Materials, Energy & Engineering and Health & Biomedicine cover a broad field of sectors, technologies and applications and are supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities.

Role in the project

Support the Food 2030 living lab creation (participating into the development of the tailor-made methodology, guidelines and road maps), its European Network and elaborate its evaluation framework. Engage into the creation of the Knowledge Community by identifying good urban food governance practices, identifying learning needs and promoting a fruitful exchange of knowledge by the creation of the platform, assuring its openness worldwide and incorporating those experiences and exchanges. Contribute to the Urban Food Participatory Long-term Planning by defining policies and action plans at local level, especially on the waste domain.
