The climate people’s meeting puts climate at the top of the agenda

The purpose of the Climate People’s Meeting is simply to inspire action – both for decision-makers, companies, organizations and citizens. This year’s theme is ‘Climate Action Together’.

The ambition of the Climate People’s Meeting is to cement itself as the national event that really puts the climate challenge on the agenda and creates common solutions. The Climate People’s Meeting is a non-commercial event, just as it is completely free to attend every day. The climate people’s meeting has three legs: a popular, a political and a professional one.

The latest Climate People’s Meeting in 2022 was the largest edition so far, where 21,000 people visited Middelfart.

In 2019, the Region of Southern Denmark and Middelfart Municipality entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to lift the Climate People’s Meeting in Middelfart from being a local event to being a national event. The purpose is to create solutions to the climate challenge and inspire citizens, decision-makers, companies and organizations to action.

The climate people’s meeting is held together with a large number of organizers who contribute content to this year’s program.

The Climate People’s Meeting will be held in 2023 from 31 August to 2 September at KulturØpladsen in Middelfart.
