Elämää maasta -festival (Life from the Land/Soil -festival) celebrates local food and offers down-to-earth experiences for the whole family!
On 17 September, the Elämää maasta Festival will take place in Tampere at the premises of AhlmanEdu in the middle of the Finnish harvest season and is organised in cooperation between Tampere project partners.
During the festival, visitors can learn about urban farming at AhlmanEdu’s raised-bed biointensive urban garden. The workshops will also introduce AhlmanEdu’s bioactive compost and soil health. Local food producers and other small-scale producers from the region will also be on hand to present their activities and sell their products.
The Tampere Living Lab will be launched during the event. We will tell visitors about our own Living Lab’s activities and perspectives on sustainable food production. We are also launching a regional brand of local origin products with 24 producers and 250 products, which Fusilli will support.
